SpaceX successfully launched its Starship rocket towards orbit for the first time, carrying 26 new Starlink satellites. This ambitious mission aims to test the rocket system for future use in NASA's Artemis moon program. The nearly 10-hour flight is designed to send Starship around the globe from an altitude of 275 kilometers, with a planned splashdown in the Pacific Ocean. Previous test flights had not achieved such distances, often ending in fiery crashes.
