Vedanta Limited has successfully raised ₹2,000 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis. This fundraising initiative aims to diversify the company's funding sources and strengthen its balance sheet by refinancing existing debt. The issued non-convertible debentures are unsecured, redeemable, rated, and listed, with each having a face value of ₹1 lakh. This move by the global producer of metals and minerals is intended to manage its financial obligations effectively. The company's net debt stood at ₹8,299 crore as of June 30, 2026.

वेदांता लिमिटेड ने प्राइवेट प्लेसमेंट के आधार पर नॉन-कन्वर्टिबल डिबेंचर जारी करके ₹2,000 करोड़ सफलतापूर्वक जुटाए हैं। इस फंड जुटाने की पहल का उद्देश्य कंपनी के फंडिंग स्रोतों में विविधता लाना और मौजूदा कर्ज को रिफाइनेंस करके उसकी बैलेंस शीट को मजबूत करना है। जारी किए गए नॉन-कन्वर्टिबल डिबेंचर असुरक्षित, रिडीमेबल, रेटेड और लिस्टेड हैं, जिनमें से प्रत्येक का फेस वैल्यू ₹1 लाख है। धातुओं और खनिजों के इस वैश्विक उत्पादक का यह कदम अपनी वित्तीय देनदारियों को प्रभावी ढंग से प्रबंधित करने के इरादे से है। 30 जून 2026 तक कंपनी पर ₹8,299 करोड़ का नेट कर्ज था।
