Denmark-based brewing giant Carlsberg India has received approval from market regulator SEBI for its IPO. The company plans to raise approximately ₹6,600 crore through this offering, which is expected to be an OFS. This means existing promoters and investors will sell their shares, rather than the company issuing new ones. Carlsberg India, the country's second-largest brewer with a 22% market share, aims to list on the stock exchanges by the end of the year.

डेनमार्क की शराब बनाने वाली बड़ी कंपनी Carlsberg India को बाज़ार नियामक SEBI से उसके IPO के लिए मंज़ूरी मिल गई है। कंपनी इस पेशकश के ज़रिए करीब ₹6,600 करोड़ जुटाने की योजना बना रही है, जिसके OFS होने की उम्मीद है। इसका मतलब है कि कंपनी नए शेयर जारी करने के बजाय मौजूदा प्रमोटर और निवेशक अपने शेयर बेचेंगे। Carlsberg India, जो 22% बाज़ार हिस्सेदारी के साथ देश की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी शराब कंपनी है, का लक्ष्य साल के अंत तक स्टॉक एक्सचेंजों पर लिस्ट होना है।
