AAP MLAs from Punjab, Chetan Singh Jauramajra and Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, have resigned from the party's primary membership. Their resignations come just a day after AAP released its first list of 40 candidates for the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. Pathanmajra, who had previously questioned his own government's functioning and faced a rape case, sent his resignation to Arvind Kejriwal. Jauramajra announced his departure via social media. The resignations create uncertainty for AAP regarding candidate selection for the Samana and Sanaur seats.
