HRV Pharma Acquires German Firm Phatebo, Enters European Finished Formulations Business

Hyderabad-based HRV Pharma has agreed to acquire German pharmaceutical company Phatebo GmbH for an undisclosed sum. This strategic move marks HRV's entry into the European finished formulations business, expanding its operations beyond active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Phatebo, founded in 2015, specializes in clinical trial supply and holds a German pharmaceutical wholesale authorization. The acquisition will provide HRV with a licensed operating business in Germany, established distribution systems, and key relationships with pharmaceutical sponsors and clinical research organizations. Phatebo will continue to operate under its existing name with its current team.
