India's core sector output surged to a 30-month high of 7.9% in September, driven by a significant rebound in coal production and strong performance in iron ore and refinery products. This marks the highest growth level under the new base year series of 2022-23. All nine sectors showed improvement compared to the previous month, with six sectors expanding, up from five in August. Cumulatively, the core sector index grew 5.1% from April to September, a notable increase from 2.5% in the same period last year.

सितंबर में भारत के कोर सेक्टर का आउटपुट 7.9% पर पहुंच गया, जो 30 महीने का उच्चतम स्तर है। यह कोयला उत्पादन में बड़ी उछाल और आयरन ओर व रिफाइनरी उत्पादों के मजबूत प्रदर्शन से हुआ। यह 2022-23 के नए बेस ईयर सीरीज के तहत सबसे ऊंचा ग्रोथ लेवल है। पिछले महीने की तुलना में सभी नौ सेक्टरों में सुधार हुआ, जिसमें छह सेक्टरों का विस्तार हुआ, जो अगस्त में पांच था। कुल मिलाकर, अप्रैल से सितंबर तक कोर सेक्टर इंडेक्स में 5.1% की वृद्धि हुई, जो पिछले साल की इसी अवधि में 2.5% से काफी ज्यादा है।
