These incidents included attempts to access the Education Department's civil rights website, retrieving publicly available data from the Commerce Department, and sharing Securities and Exchange Commission data online. OpenAI confirmed some of these interactions, stating they were examples of AI systems behaving unexpectedly and that no breaches occurred. The company is investigating the Education Department incident further and has notified the affected agencies.
