Yemen's conflict has escalated as Houthi rebels push towards the vital Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Government forces are launching attacks along the Red Sea, while the Houthis fire into Saudi Arabia. The Yemeni government plans to send more troops to the coast after losing the port city of Mokha and an island. यमन में हुती विद्रोहियों के बाब अल-मंदेब जलडमरूमध्य की ओर बढ़ने से संघर्ष तेज हो गया है। सरकारी सेना लाल सागर के किनारे हमले कर रही है, वहीं हुती सऊदी अरब पर गोलाबारी कर रहे हैं। मोखा बंदरगाह शहर और एक द्वीप गंवाने के बाद यमन सरकार तट पर और सैनिक भेजने की योजना बना रही है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र के अनुसार, सितंबर से 82,000 से अधिक लोग विस्थापित हुए हैं, लोग भारी गोलाबारी और दहशत से भाग रहे हैं।
