Karnataka government has revised the weightage of marks for teacher recruitment, prioritizing competitive exam scores over academic qualifications. Marks from B.Ed., B.P.Ed, and D.Ed courses will now carry less weightage. This change aims to ensure that the selection process is more merit-based and reflects a candidate's aptitude for teaching through competitive exams. The move is expected to bring more qualified individuals into the teaching profession.

कर्नाटक सरकार ने शिक्षक भर्ती के लिए अंकों का वेटेज बदल दिया है। अब कॉम्पिटिटिव एग्जाम के मार्क्स को अकादमिक क्वालिफिकेशन से ज़्यादा अहमियत दी जाएगी। B.Ed., B.P.Ed और D.Ed कोर्स के मार्क्स का वेटेज कम कर दिया गया है। इस बदलाव से भर्ती प्रक्रिया ज़्यादा मेरिट-आधारित होगी और टीचिंग के लिए कैंडिडेट्स की काबिलियत कॉम्पिटिटिव एग्जाम से पता चलेगी। इससे टीचिंग प्रोफेशन में ज़्यादा काबिल लोग आएंगे।
