Delhi Traffic Disrupted By Hotel Event And Potential Protest Near EC

Hindustan Times · india

Traffic in central Delhi faced significant disruptions on Tuesday due to security arrangements for a potential protest against the Election Commission and a luxury hotel event. Sardar Patel Marg and several other key roads, including Simon Bolivar Marg and Mother Teresa Crescent, were closed or saw dynamic diversions. This led to severe congestion around Dhaula Kuan and on alternate routes like the Golden Quadrilateral and Ring Road. Restrictions were expected to continue until 1 PM, impacting commuters around Jantar Mantar and Connaught Place as well.
