Andhra Pradesh SEC Allots Free Symbols For MPTC, ZPTC Elections

The Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission has allotted free, common symbols to three registered political parties for upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections. Jateeya Sama Samajam Party (JSSP) received 'bat', Bharatha Chaitanya Yuvajana Party (BCYP) got 'battery torch', and Rashtriya Praja Congress (Secular) (RPC-S) was assigned 'gas cylinder'. These allotments are a one-time facility and require parties to deposit ₹1 lakh each with an undertaking. The symbols will be available for other parties or independent candidates in constituencies where these three parties do not field candidates.
