He demanded the CEC's removal, an end to the Special Intensive Revision exercise, and changes to the law governing CEC appointments. Kharge alleged the current laws grant immunity to the CEC, enabling such actions.

राज्यसभा में विपक्ष के नेता मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान‌ेश कुमार पर "वोट चोरी" की सुविधा देने और चुनावी रोल को केंद्रीकृत करने का आरोप लगाया है। INDIA गठबंधन द्वारा आयोजित एक प्रतीकात्मक "सार्वजनिक महाभियोग" में, खरगे ने चुनाव चोरी करने और 13.3 करोड़ मतदाताओं को हटाने की साजिश सहित छह आरोप सूचीबद्ध किए। उन्होंने सीईसी को हटाने, विशेष गहन संशोधन अभ्यास को समाप्त करने और सीईसी की नियुक्तियों को नियंत्रित करने वाले कानून में बदलाव की मांग की। खरगे ने आरोप लगाया कि वर्तमान कानून सीईसी को छूट देते हैं, जिससे ऐसे कार्य संभव हो पाते हैं।
