Textile Units Urged To File Returns; Non-Compliance May Attract Penalties

Textile Commissioner Vrunda Desai has urged industry stakeholders to file Textile Statistical Returns System (TSRS) returns, warning that non-compliance could lead to penalties. The unique ID generated through the TSRS portal will also help units access benefits under various government schemes. Launched, the portal has registered 7,166 units so far. Desai highlighted Gujarat's textile competitiveness, noting the state's significant uptake under the Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFS) and the proposed Rs 1,000 crore PM MITRA Park initiative.

टेक्सटाइल कमिश्नर वृन्दा देसाई ने उद्योग हितधारकों से टेक्सटाइल स्टैटिस्टिकल रिटर्न्स सिस्टम (TSRS) रिटर्न दाखिल करने का आग्रह किया है, और चेतावनी दी है कि अनुपालन न करने पर जुर्माना लग सकता है। TSRS पोर्टल के माध्यम से उत्पन्न होने वाला यूनिक आईडी इकाइयों को विभिन्न सरकारी योजनाओं के तहत लाभ प्राप्त करने में भी मदद करेगा। लॉन्च होने के बाद से, पोर्टल पर अब तक 7,166 इकाइयों का पंजीकरण हो चुका है। देसाई ने गुजरात की कपड़ा प्रतिस्पर्धात्मकता पर प्रकाश डाला, जिसमें राज्य की अमेंडेड टेक्नोलॉजी अपग्रेडेशन फंड स्कीम (ATUFS) के तहत महत्वपूर्ण भागीदारी और प्रस्तावित 1,000 करोड़ रुपये की PM MITRA पार्क पहल का उल्लेख किया।
