School Clerk Suspended Over Rs 76 Lakh Irregular Payout From Govt Treasury

A clerk at FNS Academy Higher Secondary School in Patna has been suspended for allegedly misusing a district education office login ID. Vijay Krishna Vidyarthi is accused of facilitating an unauthorised disbursal of Rs 76.71 lakh from the government treasury. The department has termed the alleged acts digital manipulation, fraud, collusion, and criminal breach of trust. The irregularity was uncovered during an audit by the Accountant General, Bihar, and while the amount was recovered, interest payments were not made.

पटना के FNS Academy Higher Secondary School के एक क्लर्क को जिला शिक्षा कार्यालय की लॉगिन आईडी के कथित दुरुपयोग के आरोप में निलंबित कर दिया गया है। विजय कृष्ण विद्यार्थी पर सरकारी खजाने से 76.71 लाख रुपये के अनधिकृत भुगतान की सुविधा देने का आरोप है। विभाग ने कथित कृत्यों को डिजिटल हेरफेर, धोखाधड़ी, मिलीभगत और आपराधिक विश्वासघात बताया है। यह अनियमितता महालेखाकार, बिहार द्वारा ऑडिट के दौरान सामने आई थी, और राशि वसूल कर ली गई थी, लेकिन ब्याज का भुगतान नहीं किया गया था।
