Times of India · education

Kolkata's SRFTI has suspended academic activities for its Film and EDM Wings. The institute ordered all students to vacate hostels and campus premises within 24 hours, also suspending mess services. This decision was made due to the festive period, administrative needs, and to ensure orderly functioning. However, students' union condemned the order, calling it inhumane and a retaliatory measure against a peaceful protest. They allege the administration is trying to disrupt their ongoing demonstrations.
