The outlets allegedly used platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram to advertise and sell the prohibited products, with deliveries facilitated by services like Rapido and Porter. Authorities also seized foreign cigarettes and scanners. Two cases have been registered under various acts, including the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, as investigations continue to trace the supply network and identify absconding owners.

मधुपुर पुलिस ने EAGLE फोर्स के साथ मिलकर दो दुकानों, स्मोकिन स्पॉट और होली स्मोक पर छापे मारकर चार लोगों को पकड़ा है और 92 प्रतिबंधित ई-सिगरेट जब्त की हैं। आरोप है कि ये दुकानें WhatsApp और Instagram जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म का इस्तेमाल करके गैरकानूनी उत्पादों का विज्ञापन और बिक्री करती थीं, और Rapido और Porter जैसी सेवाओं से डिलीवरी कराती थीं। पुलिस ने विदेशी सिगरेट और स्कैनर भी जब्त किए हैं। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सिगरेट निषेध अधिनियम सहित विभिन्न अधिनियमों के तहत दो मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं, और आपूर्ति नेटवर्क का पता लगाने और फरार मालिकों की पहचान के लिए जांच जारी है।
