Jaipur Municipal Corporation Restores Four Historic Stepwells

The Jaipur Municipal Corporation, in collaboration with the World Monuments Fund India, has commenced the restoration of four historic stepwells within the Walled City. These efforts aim to revive the stepwells as vital water sources, community gathering spots, and cultural attractions. Bangali Baba Baori and Gaitore Baori are slated for completion, with Kale Hanumanji ki Baori and Parshuram Baori expected. The project faced delays but is now proceeding with a focus on preserving historical integrity and traditional water systems.

जयपुर नगर निगम ने World Monuments Fund India के साथ मिलकर, Walled City के अंदर चार ऐतिहासिक बावड़ियों का जीर्णोद्धार शुरू कर दिया है। इन प्रयासों का मकसद इन बावड़ियों को पानी के अहम स्रोत, सामुदायिक मिलन स्थल और सांस्कृतिक आकर्षण के रूप में फिर से जीवित करना है। बंगाली बाबा बावड़ी और गटोरे बावड़ी का काम पूरा होने वाला है, जबकि काले हनुमानजी की बावड़ी और परशुराम बावड़ी से भी उम्मीदें हैं। इस प्रोजेक्ट में देरी हुई थी, लेकिन अब ऐतिहासिक अखंडता और पारंपरिक जल प्रणालियों को बनाए रखने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए यह आगे बढ़ रहा है।
