BJP MLA Chotelal Verma Dies At 73

Chotelal Verma, a Bharatiya Janata Party MLA representing the Fatehabad constituency in Agra, passed away on Thursday at the age of 73. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences, calling the death "extremely sad" and praying for Verma's soul. Verma had a long political career, first elected in 1993 and serving multiple terms with different parties before returning to the BJP. He held positions with the rank of minister of state and deputy minister.

आगरा की फतेहाबाद सीट से बीजेपी विधायक छोटेलाल वर्मा का गुरुवार को 73 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने गहरा दुख जताते हुए वर्मा की आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की। वर्मा का लंबा राजनीतिक सफर रहा, वह पहली बार 1993 में चुने गए थे और कई पार्टियों से होते हुए बीजेपी में लौटे थे। उन्होंने राज्य मंत्री और उप मंत्री का दर्जा भी संभाला था।
