Delhi Cooperative Societies Ordered to Conduct Safety Audits Within 30 Days

The Delhi Registrar of Cooperative Societies has mandated that all cooperative group housing societies conduct comprehensive safety audits. This directive includes structural assessments by qualified engineers, verification of fire safety certificates, and checks on lift safety and maintenance. Societies must identify and address structural risks and ensure proper functioning of safety installations. Management committees are responsible for repairs, maintenance, and regularly updating disaster management and fire prevention plans. A compliance report must be submitted within 30 days, following recent fatal building incidents in the capital.

दिल्ली के रजिस्ट्रार ऑफ कोऑपरेटिव सोसाइटीज ने सभी सहकारी समूह आवास समितियों को व्यापक सुरक्षा ऑडिट करने का आदेश दिया है। इस निर्देश में योग्य इंजीनियरों द्वारा संरचनात्मक मूल्यांकन, फायर सेफ्टी सर्टिफिकेट का सत्यापन, और लिफ्ट सुरक्षा और रखरखाव की जांच शामिल है। समितियों को संरचनात्मक जोखिमों की पहचान करनी होगी और उन्हें दूर करना होगा, साथ ही सुरक्षा उपकरणों के उचित कामकाज को सुनिश्चित करना होगा। प्रबंधन समितियों की मरम्मत, रखरखाव और आपदा प्रबंधन और अग्नि निवारण योजनाओं को नियमित रूप से अपडेट करने की जिम्मेदारी होगी। हाल ही में राजधानी में हुई घातक भवन दुर्घटनाओं के बाद 30 दिनों के भीतर अनुपालन रिपोर्ट जमा करनी होगी।
