Two Passengers Apprehended at Kolkata Airport with Rs 1 Crore in Foreign Currency

CISF personnel intercepted two passengers at Kolkata airport who were attempting to travel to Bangkok with a significant amount of foreign currency. During security screening, suspicious items were detected in their baggage, leading to a physical examination. Officials discovered $1,19,900, equivalent to approximately Rs 1.1 crore, concealed in false bottoms of their bags. One passenger was found with $74,900 and the other with $45,000.

CISF के जवानों ने कोलकाता एयरपोर्ट पर दो यात्रियों को रोका जो बड़ी मात्रा में विदेशी मुद्रा लेकर बैंकॉक जाने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। सुरक्षा जांच के दौरान उनके सामान में संदिग्ध चीजें मिलीं, जिसके बाद उनकी तलाशी ली गई। अधिकारियों को उनके बैग के नकली तले में 1,19,900 डॉलर मिले, जो करीब 1.1 करोड़ रुपये के बराबर हैं। एक यात्री के पास 74,900 डॉलर और दूसरे के पास 45,000 डॉलर मिले।
