Uber, Lyft Win Court Block on NYC Driver

Uber and Lyft have secured a court injunction against a New York City law mandating notice before drivers can be fired. US District Judge Gregory Woods ruled that the law, enacted this year, benefits only a small portion of drivers. He also stated that it infringes upon the ride-hailing companies' ability to maintain the safety of their platforms.
