Tokenisation, the process of recording real-world assets like bonds and real estate on a shared digital ledger, is emerging as a significant financial shift. Edul Patel, CEO of Mudrex, explained that this technology promises to make investments more accessible, liquid, and cheaper for Indian investors. While some tokenised assets are already available, regulatory pathways for tokenised real estate and Indian equities are still evolving. Trust in these assets will heavily rely on robust regulatory and enforcement infrastructure, similar to existing asset classes.
