India faces multiple shocks as crude oil prices have surged nearly 30% in September from August, reaching $115.27 a barrel. Chief Economic Adviser V Anantha Nageswaran warned that trade, technology, and energy risks are increasingly reinforcing each other. He noted that supply shocks, driven by factors like the pandemic and the Ukraine war, are now dominant global forces. Nageswaran emphasized the need for resilience and diversified abundance for India amidst geopolitical shifts.

सितंबर में कच्चे तेल के दाम अगस्त से करीब 30% बढ़कर $115.27 प्रति बैरल हो गए हैं। इससे भारत को कई झटके लग रहे हैं। मुख्य आर्थिक सलाहकार वी. अनंत नागेश्वरन ने कहा कि व्यापार, तकनीक और ऊर्जा के खतरे एक-दूसरे को बढ़ा रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि महामारी और यूक्रेन युद्ध जैसे कारणों से सप्लाई में रुकावटें अब दुनिया पर हावी हो रही हैं। नागेश्वरन ने भू-राजनीतिक बदलावों के बीच भारत के लिए लचीलापन और विविधतापूर्ण प्रचुरता की जरूरत पर जोर दिया।
