The Congress has hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his taunts regarding the party's performance in the MLC elections. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh urged the PM to stop trolling and instead reflect on why the BJP lost both seats in his own Varanasi constituency. Ramesh highlighted that from Varanasi and Nagpur to Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Patna, people have expressed a no-confidence motion against the PM's policies. He also pointed out the BJP's loss in Nagpur, a stronghold of the RSS, and criticized the government over inflation and unemployment.
