AP Social Audit Body Wins SKOCH Gold Award

SSAAT has become the first state social audit organisation to win the SKOCH Gold Award. This award recognises the state's efforts in enhancing transparency and accountability in rural development and welfare programmes. SSAAT strengthens field-level audits by involving local communities and live-streaming proceedings. The AP model has drawn interest from 22 other states seeking to study its practices. SSAAT conducts over 13,000 social audits annually, covering millions of works and households.
