Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) Chairman N.A. Haris has proposed reclaiming allotted sites from owners who fail to construct houses within four years. He stated that BDA rules permit this action, and discussions with the government are underway. A land audit is being conducted to identify such allottees. He urged allottees to build homes, promising completion of pending infrastructure work within 10 days if they commit to construction.
