Kuruba community leaders are demanding the immediate reinstallation of a statue of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Kalaburagi, which they claim was removed on September 17. They have threatened to launch an agitation if the statue is not restored by September 23. Leaders stated the removal hurt community sentiments and highlighted Siddaramaiah's contributions to the state and welfare of backward communities. They plan to install his statue in other districts as a mark of respect.

कुरुबा समुदाय के नेताओं ने कलबुर्गी में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री सिद्धारमैया की मूर्ति तुरंत फिर से लगाने की मांग की है। उनका कहना है कि यह मूर्ति 17 सितंबर को हटा दी गई थी। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि अगर 23 सितंबर तक मूर्ति वापस नहीं लगाई गई तो वे आंदोलन करेंगे। नेताओं ने कहा कि मूर्ति हटाने से समुदाय की भावनाएं आहत हुई हैं और सिद्धारमैया के राज्य व पिछड़े समुदायों के कल्याण में योगदान को याद दिलाया।
