Thousands of devotees gathered at Haridwar's Narayani Shila Temple on Pitru Visarjani Amavasya to perform rituals for the liberation of their ancestors. This day marks the end of the Pitru Paksha period, dedicated to honoring departed family members. It is believed that performing puja and offering prayers here on this day can grant moksha (liberation) to ancestors, especially for those unaware of their death dates. Police have made extensive arrangements to manage the large influx of pilgrims, ensuring smooth darshan amidst significant crowds.

पितृ विसर्जिनी अमावस्या पर हजारों श्रद्धालु हरिद्वार के नारायणी शिला मंदिर में अपने पूर्वजों की मुक्ति के लिए अनुष्ठान करने पहुंचे। यह दिन पितृ पक्ष की अवधि का अंत है, जो दिवंगत परिवार के सदस्यों का सम्मान करने के लिए समर्पित है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस दिन यहां पूजा और प्रार्थना करने से पूर्वजों को मोक्ष (मुक्ति) मिल सकता है, खासकर उन लोगों के लिए जिनकी मृत्यु की तारीखें अज्ञात हैं। पुलिस ने बड़ी संख्या में तीर्थयात्रियों को संभालने के लिए व्यापक व्यवस्था की है, जिससे भारी भीड़ के बीच सुचारू दर्शन सुनिश्चित हो सके।
