Madhya Pradesh Govt Sets Deadline for Second Supplementary Budget Proposals

The Madhya Pradesh government has directed all departments to submit proposals for the second supplementary budget for 2026-27. The finance department clarified that fresh demands adding to the state's financial burden will not be entertained. Departments can seek additional provisions only for specific expenditures, such as sanctioned advances from the contingency fund or financial assistance from the centre. Proposals for new items or vehicle purchases that increase the state's financial burden are explicitly excluded. All proposals must be submitted online after obtaining necessary administrative approvals.

मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने सभी विभागों को 2026-27 के दूसरे अनुपूरक बजट के लिए प्रस्ताव जमा करने का निर्देश दिया है। वित्त विभाग ने स्पष्ट किया है कि राज्य के वित्तीय बोझ को बढ़ाने वाली नई मांगों पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा। विभाग केवल आकस्मिक निधि से स्वीकृत अग्रिम या केंद्र से वित्तीय सहायता जैसे विशिष्ट खर्चों के लिए अतिरिक्त प्रावधान मांग सकते हैं। राज्य के वित्तीय बोझ को बढ़ाने वाली नई मदों या वाहन खरीद के प्रस्तावों को स्पष्ट रूप से बाहर रखा गया है। सभी प्रस्तावों को आवश्यक प्रशासनिक अनुमोदन प्राप्त करने के बाद ऑनलाइन जमा करना होगा।
