Delhi University has directed all its colleges, departments, and hostels to conduct comprehensive safety audits and submit detailed reports by October 12. The initiative focuses on enhancing lighting, CCTV surveillance, and security measures, particularly for women. University officials aim to collect data on areas needing improvement to present to the LG and CM for action. The audit will identify blind spots, assess lighting functionality, and strategically position CCTV cameras. Authorities are also asked to report on structural conditions and potential hazards, fostering a safer campus environment for students and staff.

दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी ने अपने सभी कॉलेजों, विभागों और छात्रावासों को व्यापक सुरक्षा ऑडिट करने और 12 अक्टूबर तक विस्तृत रिपोर्ट जमा करने का निर्देश दिया है। इस पहल का मुख्य उद्देश्य रोशनी, सीसीटीवी निगरानी और सुरक्षा उपायों को बढ़ाना है, खासकर महिलाओं के लिए। यूनिवर्सिटी के अधिकारी एलजी और सीएम को कार्रवाई के लिए प्रस्तुत करने हेतु सुधार की आवश्यकता वाले क्षेत्रों पर डेटा एकत्र करना चाहते हैं। ऑडिट में अंधे स्थानों की पहचान की जाएगी, रोशनी की कार्यक्षमता का आकलन किया जाएगा और सीसीटीवी कैमरों को रणनीतिक रूप से स्थापित किया जाएगा।
