Indian Air Force Chief Completes Final Flight With First Flying Instructor

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh completed his final flight sortie, in an HJT-16 Kiran Mark-1 trainer aircraft. This 55-minute flight marked an emotional end to his flying career. Notably, he flew with his first flying instructor, Wing Commander VS Kochar (Retd), in aircraft number U 707. This reunion of instructor and disciple connected the Air Force Chief to the very beginning of his aviation journey. The flight symbolised a full circle, honouring instructors and the rich training traditions of the Indian Air Force.

एयर चीफ मार्शल एपी सिंह ने एचजेटी-16 किरण मार्क-1 ट्रेनर एयरक्राफ्ट में अपनी आखिरी उड़ान भरी। इस 55 मिनट की उड़ान ने उनके उड़ान करियर का एक भावुक अंत किया। खास बात यह है कि उन्होंने अपने पहले उड़ान प्रशिक्षक, विंग कमांडर वीएस कोचर (सेवानिवृत्त) के साथ एयरक्राफ्ट नंबर यू 707 में उड़ान भरी। गुरु-शिष्य के इस मिलन ने वायुसेना प्रमुख को उनकी विमानन यात्रा की शुरुआत से जोड़ दिया। इस उड़ान ने एक पूरा चक्र पूरा किया, प्रशिक्षकों और भारतीय वायुसेना की समृद्ध प्रशिक्षण परंपराओं का सम्मान किया।
