ED Searches Ex-Minister's Premises in Money Laundering Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at least 15 locations in Kolkata, including the residence of a former state minister, in connection with alleged financial irregularities. The searches are linked to massArt, a non-profit organisation accused of collecting funds by falsely claiming UNESCO sponsorship for its Durga Puja preview shows. Funds allegedly were used for personal gain, with former minister Indranil Sen and associates being investigated. The Kolkata Police had previously booked Sen under sections related to criminal breach of trust, cheating, and forgery.
