Naman Dhir Embraces Finisher Role in India's T20 Set-up

Naman Dhir has been clearly assigned the role of a finisher and to bowl two to three economical overs per game by India's T20 team management. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Shreyas Iyer want multi-faceted cricketers, especially in Hardik Pandya's absence. Dhir, who plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, has taken five wickets in nine overs across three T20Is so far. He aims to contribute with both bat and ball, focusing on line and length as an off-spinner.
