Gold ETF Inflows Surge to 7-Month High in September
Business Standard Markets · stocks
Investor interest in gold ETFs reached a seven-month peak in September, with inflows totaling ₹4,450.61 crore, a significant rise from August's ₹2,596.7 crore. This surge occurred despite a nearly 5% decline in domestic bullion prices and a 6% drop in international markets. Analysts attribute the increased allocation to gold ETFs to global economic uncertainties, geopolitical tensions, and a desire for portfolio diversification. Cumulative inflows for January-September have already surpassed the total for the previous year, indicating a growing investor preference for gold as a strategic asset.
