Mika Singh shared that his elder brother, Daler Mehndi, performed kirtans in gurudwaras before achieving fame in the music industry. He revealed this during a conversation at his 100-acre Delhi farmhouse, which features a 24/7 gurudwara. Mika explained that their father also sang kirtans, and many Punjabi singers begin their musical journey in gurudwaras. He emphasized his continued connection to faith, ensuring a 24/7 paath at their family gurudwara. Mika also recalled forming the Maharaja Band with Daler after his brother's return from the US.

मिका सिंह ने बताया कि उनके बड़े भाई, दिलेर मेहंदी, म्यूजिक इंडस्ट्री में शोहरत हासिल करने से पहले गुरुद्वारों में कीर्तन करते थे। उन्होंने यह बात अपने 100 एकड़ के दिल्ली फार्महाउस पर एक बातचीत के दौरान बताई, जहाँ 24/7 गुरुद्वारा भी है। मिका ने समझाया कि उनके पिता भी कीर्तन गाते थे, और कई पंजाबी गायक गुरुद्वारों में अपनी संगीत यात्रा शुरू करते हैं। उन्होंने अपनी आस्था से निरंतर जुड़ाव पर जोर दिया, यह सुनिश्चित करते हुए कि उनके पारिवारिक गुरुद्वारे में 24/7 पाठ चलता रहे। मिका ने यह भी याद किया कि भाई के अमेरिका से लौटने के बाद उन्होंने दिलेर के साथ महाराजा बैंड बनाया था।
