Ranchi Municipal Corporation Identifies Land For New Waste Processing Facility

The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has identified 48 decimals of government land at Tamtam Toli for a new material recovery facility. This facility will process waste collected from ward numbers 11, 12, and 13. Additional Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Kumar inspected the site and ordered the removal of dilapidated structures and encroachments to expedite construction. The city currently has five operational MRFs, with six more under construction, and this new addition will bring the total to twelve centres, enhancing waste management capabilities.

रांची नगर निगम ने टमटम टोली में 48 डेसीमल सरकारी जमीन को नए मटेरियल रिकवरी फैसिलिटी (MRF) के लिए चुना है। यह फैसिलिटी वार्ड नंबर 11, 12 और 13 से इकट्ठा होने वाले कचरे को प्रोसेस करेगी। एडिशनल म्युनिसिपल कमिश्नर संजय कुमार ने साइट का निरीक्षण किया और निर्माण में तेजी लाने के लिए जर्जर इमारतों और अतिक्रमण को हटाने का आदेश दिया। शहर में अभी पांच MRF चालू हैं, छह और बन रहे हैं, और इस नए प्लांट के जुड़ने से कुल बारह सेंटर हो जाएंगे, जिससे कचरा प्रबंधन की क्षमता बढ़ेगी।
