Pakistan has officially denied reports of its forces conducting attacks against Houthi targets in Yemen. The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that Pakistani troops stationed in Saudi Arabia are solely for defensive purposes and will not engage in offensive operations within Yemen. This clarification comes amid a New York Times report alleging Pakistani fighter jet involvement in strikes. Islamabad reiterated its commitment to Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and security, seeking to distance itself from direct involvement in the escalating conflict.
