Georgia Official Accuses External Forces of Interference

Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of Georgia's ruling party, stated that external forces are attempting to use local opposition in Georgia and Ukraine to advance their own interests. He described the opposition as "agents without a homeland" acting on foreign orders, not for their country's good. This comes as Georgia's relations with the EU and US have strained following the passage of a foreign agents law and an LGBT propaganda ban in 2024.
