Nvidia has settled a trademark lawsuit filed by Modulus Financial Engineering over its "Modulus" AI software. Modulus Financial alleged that Nvidia's open-source software for AI models would cause consumer confusion. Nvidia denied the claims and had previously changed the software's name to "Nvidia PhysicsNeMo." The companies informed a Texas federal court of their resolution and requested the case be paused as they finalize the agreement. The trial was scheduled to begin next month.
