LGBTQ Influencer Murder Case: Police Dismiss Gangster Claims as Unauthentic

Amritsar police have dismissed social media posts claiming gangster involvement in the murder of LGBTQ influencer Mad Sandhu as unauthentic. Sandhu, 29, was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants on Saturday outside a car washing centre. Police commissioner Harmanbir Singh Gill stated that investigations are progressing across multiple angles and the claims are from foreign-based individuals. Sandhu, known for his fashion and gender acceptance content, had previously faced online trolling but no link has been established with the murder.

अमृतसर पुलिस ने सोशल मीडिया पर चल रहे उन दावों को खारिज कर दिया है जिनमें LGBTQ इन्फ्लुएंसर मैड संधू की हत्या में गैंगस्टरों के शामिल होने की बात कही जा रही है। पुलिस का कहना है कि ये दावे झूठे हैं। संधू, जो 29 साल के थे, शनिवार को एक कार वॉशिंग सेंटर के बाहर दो अज्ञात मोटरसाइकिल सवार हमलावरों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी थी। पुलिस कमिश्नर हरमनबीर सिंह गिल ने कहा कि जांच कई पहलुओं पर चल रही है और ये दावे विदेश में बैठे लोगों द्वारा किए जा रहे हैं।
