Organisers had intended for the march to start at Town Hall and end at the Quit India Memorial. The police stated that the High Court's directive specifically designates Freedom Park as the sole venue for demonstrations.

बेंगलुरु पुलिस ने कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट के आदेश का हवाला देते हुए सीजेपी की नियोजित तिरंगा मार्च की इजाज़त देने से इनकार कर दिया है। कोर्ट का आदेश है कि सभी विरोध प्रदर्शन फ्रीडम पार्क में ही होने चाहिए। आयोजकों की मंशा थी कि मार्च टाउन हॉल से शुरू होकर क्विट इंडिया मेमोरियल पर खत्म हो। पुलिस ने कहा कि हाई कोर्ट के निर्देश में फ्रीडम पार्क को प्रदर्शनों के लिए एकमात्र स्थान के रूप में विशेष रूप से नामित किया गया है।
