Opposition Demands CEC Resignation, Cites 'Sholay' Dialogue

विपक्षी दलों ने दिल्ली में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। कांग्रेस प्रमुख मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे ने सरकार की आलोचना करते हुए "शोले" के डायलॉग "जो डर गया, वो मर गया" का जिक्र किया। विपक्षी नेताओं ने राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू से भी मुलाकात की और चुनाव प्रक्रिया में अनियमितताओं और वोट चोरी के आरोपों वाला एक ज्ञापन सौंपा। उन्होंने EVM की जगह बैलेट पेपर से चुनाव कराने का अनुरोध किया। राष्ट्रपति ने उनके दावों के समर्थन में सबूत मांगे, जिसे विपक्ष जमा करने की तैयारी कर रहा है।
