Thousands of Migrants Remain in Ceuta

TASS · world

Thousands of migrants, including over 2,000 unaccompanied minors, are still in Spain's Ceuta enclave, according to European Commissioner Magnus Brunner. The crisis began in late July when nearly 80,000 illegal migrants crossed from Morocco into the city. While Spain deployed the military and most migrants have returned, daily returns are now around 200. The situation highlights ongoing challenges with irregular migration into European territories.
