Most-Wanted LeT Terrorist Hashim Moosa Killed in Jammu and Kashmir Encounter

Acting on actionable intelligence, the Army's 15 Chinar Corps launched an operation in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of highly-wanted Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Mohammad Asif alias Hashim Moosa. Moosa, a Pakistani national and former SSG commando, was believed to have infiltrated in 2023 and was linked to several attacks on security forces. He was also in contact with LeT commander Sajid Jatt, a key figure in the Pahalgam attack conspiracy. Security agencies had been tracking Moosa for over 18 months before his elimination.
