A 64-year-old man in Palakkad, Kerala, died after suffering a heart attack while collecting ice apples from a 60-foot-tall palmyra palm tree. The incident occurred on Saturday morning as the man, identified as Rajakumaran, was at the top of the tree. Local residents noticed he had not climbed down and alerted the Fire and Rescue Services. Firemen brought him down, but he was pronounced dead. His body was then taken to the Government Taluk Hospital.
