The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and its allies have secured a decisive victory, winning all 12 urban local bodies across Chittoor, Annamayya, and Sri Sathya Sai districts in Andhra Pradesh. This sweep includes unopposed victories in several municipalities, such as Punganur and Rayachoti, and dominance in others after counting. The results mark a significant political shift in the region, contrasting sharply with the YSRCP's strong performance in the 2021 municipal elections. The alliance's success is particularly notable given the intense political rivalry in the area.
