The ATP has announced plans to significantly increase player compensation and welfare by 2028, aiming for a total of USD 350 million. This includes raising the men's tour bonus pool from USD 21.5 million to USD 50 million, with an additional USD 25 million for top-ranked players and USD 30 million annually for pensions. The overhaul also seeks to address player workload concerns by restructuring the rankings and calendar, giving bigger events more weight and introducing dedicated category weeks.
