Malnad region, a key coffee-growing belt, has finally received widespread and continuous rainfall after days of sweltering heat. The downpour brought much-needed relief to farmers, particularly those cultivating coffee, pepper, and areca crops, which were facing moisture stress. While the rain has revived hopes for improved yields and aided crucial crop development stages, some low-lying areas in Kalasa and Charandi experienced water entering houses due to incessant showers. Pilgrims in Sringeri faced disruptions, with power and mobile connectivity affected in rural areas.

मलनाड क्षेत्र, जो कॉफ़ी उगाने का एक अहम इलाका है, आखिरकार कई दिनों की चिलचिलाती गर्मी के बाद व्यापक और लगातार बारिश से तर हो गया है। इस बारिश से किसानों को, खासकर कॉफ़ी, काली मिर्च और सुपारी की खेती करने वालों को बहुत राहत मिली है, जिनकी फसलें नमी की कमी से जूझ रही थीं। जहाँ इस बारिश ने बेहतर पैदावार की उम्मीदें जगाई हैं और फसलों के विकास के महत्वपूर्ण चरणों में मदद की है, वहीं कलसा और चरांडी के कुछ निचले इलाकों में लगातार बारिश के कारण घरों में पानी घुस गया। श्रृंगेरी में तीर्थयात्रियों को परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा, ग्रामीण इलाकों में बिजली और मोबाइल कनेक्टिविटी प्रभावित हुई।
