Tesla Renames Full Self-Driving Feature to Assisted Driving in Europe

Tesla has rebranded its Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature to Tesla Assisted Driving on several European websites, including Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Slovakia. This change follows concerns from European regulators that the original name was misleading about the software's autonomous capabilities. Drivers are still required to supervise the system and remain legally responsible. The rebranding coincides with CEO Elon Musk's efforts to gain wider EU approval for the driver-assistance technology, with an EU-wide vote now pushed to at least December.
