Shanthi Narayanasamy, the eldest daughter of legendary Tamil actor Sivaji Ganesan, passed away at the age of 71 on Sunday after a brief illness. She was the firstborn child of the late actor and his wife Kamala Ganesan. Shanthi Narayanasamy was known for her connection to Tamil cinema, notably producing her father's 1974 film Thangapathakkam. Chennai's iconic Shanthi Theatre was named in her honour. Her siblings include film producer Ramkumar and actor Prabhu.

दिग्गज तमिल अभिनेता शिवाजी गणेशन की सबसे बड़ी बेटी शांति नारायणसामी का रविवार को 71 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया। वह कुछ समय से बीमार थीं। वह दिवंगत अभिनेता और उनकी पत्नी कमला गणेशन की पहली संतान थीं। शांति नारायणसामी तमिल सिनेमा से जुड़ी थीं और उन्होंने 1974 में अपने पिता की फिल्म 'थंगापथक्कम' का निर्माण भी किया था। चेन्नई के प्रसिद्ध शांति थिएटर का नाम उन्हीं के सम्मान में रखा गया था।
